We
hold a one day show, 3 times a year, with dealers from across Ontario,
Quebec and beyond. Our event is held at The Markham Fairgrounds, a large
indoor/outdoor venue on over 80 acres, 20 minutes north east of Toronto. We offer free parking for
thousands of cars, a green country setting, various food concessions on
site, full service washrooms and of course a great chance to find that
special treasure you’ve been looking for. With over 40,000 sq.ft of
indoor space alone we are also able to offer all of our outdoor vendors
a space inside should it turn out to be a rainy day, which makes the
show a great event no matter what the climate. Nice weather? Then we
have an additional 150,000 sq. ft of outdoor vending space to stroll
through. Although
most of our vendors are professional dealers, many with decades of
buying and selling experience, we’re proud to welcome many new and
part-time sellers. Because we offer great rates from as low as $30 we
are encouraging people who don’t typically set up at shows but have a
passion for collecting to give it a try. Our “CARBOOT” area is an
ideal opportunity for the casual seller. Hugely popular in Europe, even
inspiring a BBC television show, the carboot sale has now crossed the
Atlantic. In this classic English/European concept, vendors drive up in
their vehicles, pop the trunk and voila, antique dealer for a day. If
you are one of the many whose collection has outgrown the house ( or
basement, or garage…) this may be the perfect place for you. With
little investment, you can take advantage of a great selling venue,
thousands of potential customers, major marketing and promotion and the
added benefit of having hundreds of dealers in 1 location. The
Meister Markt Collector Show is also a great place to get items identified
and appraised. Whether it’s that funny little item your Great Aunt Daisy
left you ( what is it anyway?) or the classic watch that belonged to your
grandfather, we have specialists on site in most fields, from folk art to
furniture, memorabilia to militaria and most everything in between. We
offer 2 free verbal appraisals to each customer with a voucher, which can
be obtained at the customer service desk. Please note, this offer is
